Another wonderful day has come to an end. Tori, Jasmine and I are having a blast learning new techniques to improve the quality of our services and make your experience with us even better. We have also been enjoying this opportunity to network with other photographers like Linda Sherrill of Justus Photography!
Thank you, Linda, for taking our team picture for us!

Imaging USA Trip - Days 1,2,and 3
OK, so it has been awhile since the last blog (yet again...sorry about that!). Early Friday morning (Day 1)Tori, Jasmine and I flew out of SeaTac...on our way to the largest photography conference in the US. Over 10,000 photographers attend! We got into El Paso late that morning, hopped in our rental car and hit the road to San Antonio! It is definitely a different world down here but we are loving it. After arriving very late the girls and I took advantage of the indoor hot tub and pool right across the hall from our room. Felt great after our 12 hour drive, not to mention the flight earlier in the day. Saturday (Day 2) we woke up to grey skies and rain. Unfortunately just about everything there is to do in San Antonio is outdoors. So we braved the open road again and headed north to Austin, TX to visit my cousin that recently moved there. In an attempt to stay dry, warm and entertained we headed to the capital building for a tour and of course....pictures. :-) Sunday (Day 3) was the first official day of the conference. There is so much to learn and it is so exciting to be amongst so many other photographers who share the same passion that we do!

First Annual "Costumes for a Cause"
This past weekend was our very first, annual "Costumes for a Cause"! Despite the cold, rainy weather we had a great turnout. The fire department showed up right at 3:30 with the engine and stayed until 5:30 when we wrapped up. We photographed 24 children in their cute (and some scary!) costumes and collected 220 pounds of food! We cant wait for the SECOND annual "Costumes for a Cause"!

If you have the opportunity to see him live I highly recommend you do :-) It was wonderful!Besides the great music, animals and food I also got to spend some time with my parents and my husband. Was a very good evening. :-)

2/365 AND 3/365
Well that didnt take me very long! Sheesh! While I did not post yesteday I DID take a few pictures ;-)
#2 is hardly anything to be proud of technically speaking, but it was fun to play with my step-daughter and just be goofy. Especially since the next day, today, we traded our little girl for a big girl. She is officially registered for Kindergarten and starts in only 2 short weeks! She and I went today and bought all her school supplies, including the TWENTY glue sticks on her list. Which brings me to picture #3...

Trying to Stay Motivated.....1/365
In an effort to keep my blog consistently updated I am going to make yet another attempt at a 365 Project. A 365 Project means picking up my camera and shooting something, every day for a year.. So even if I dont have a session scheduled for a particular day I will still post something I shot that day :-)
Today is our puppy, Maggie, hanging out in one of her favorite spots under the kitchen table. We adopted her from the shelter about 10 months ago.

Busy Summer
Wow, it seems like summer took forever to get here and now that it IS here is seems to be almost over! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer though. Mine has been full of working the "day job", photo shoots, and a little bit of time with family, including my newest nephew. :-)
I would also like to congratulate all our 2010 Seniors on your graduation! What an exciting time for you! :-)
